My patients call me Dr. Carla and I love orthodontics because of the positive difference I make in my patients' lives. Our patients are extremely well informed and are eager to understand how braces will work for them. I am proud of the quality of care I offer. It took a lot of hard work and commitment to become an orthodontist and I am proud to be in a profession that helps improve people's smiles, confidence, and oral health.

I attended SUNY Stonybrook where I majored in Psychology and went on to receive my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2002. After obtaining my dental degree, I completed a General Practice Residency program at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. In 2006, I moved to Washington, DC, where I completed my postgraduate orthodontic training at Children's National Medical Center where I served as Chief Resident.

I frequently go to continuing education courses and study club meetings with fellow orthodontists on the latest advancements in orthodontics and surgical procedures. I also give continuing education courses to general dentists and hygienists so they are informed as to what orthodontics can provide for their patients.

I am originally from Forest Hills, NY, and currently reside in Hoboken, NJ, with my wonderful husband, Brian and my daughter Nora. We enjoy traveling, hiking, going to the theater, gardening, and cooking. I love spending time with my friends and family, especially with my twin sister!
