- PATIENT APPRECIATION DAY 2009 On Friday June 26, 2009 Dr. Darren Loew and his Staff hosted their 5th annual Patient Appreciation Day at Cedars Pavilion in Deer Path Park to a turn-out of nearly 400 people. Party-goers, which included patients, their families and friends, enjoyed a classic Jersey Shore dinner provided by Flemington’s local CEA (Center for Educational Advancement). Activities for this boardwalk-themed party included a moon-bounce, wheel of chance, Beach Tune Trivia, seashell necklace making, face painting and Bubbles the Clown whipping up balloon animals. Each guest received raffle tickets for the "Surf’s Up Sweepstakes," and prizes were raffled off every half hour.
On behalf of an organization called Autism Speaks, donations were collected and donors were given a chance to win a hot air balloon ride generously donated by the Hunterdon Balloon Company. Like last year, the winner was scheduled to take off at 6:30 PM upon the conclusion of the party, but a rain-check had to be awarded instead.
The pinnacle of Patient Appreciation Day was the traditional "Dunk-the-Doc." Each year, Dr. Loew’s braces-clad patients get their chance to send him swimming. This year’s Dunk-the-Doc began with each member of Dr. Loew’s Staff taking a toss of their own.

- 2008 HALLOWEEN CANDY BUY-BACK SETS ALL TIME RECORD OF 450 LBS!- In an effort to promote a safe and healthy Halloween for children, each year Dr. Loew invites the Hunterdon County community to participate in his 4th "Halloween Candy Buy-Back." This year, Dr. Loew paid $1 for every pound of candy brought to his Flemington office. In addition, he matched each dollar and donate it to the Hunterdon County Outreach Program which provides sports programs to physically and developmentally challenged children in the community. The donated candy is being made into care packages and sent to our troops overseas.
-PATIENT APPRECIATION DAY 2008 On Friday June 27th, Dr. Loew and his Team kicked off the summer with their 4th Annual Patient Appreciation Day at Deer Path Park. This year's western-themed "LoewDown HoeDown" was complete with cowboy hats, water guns, horse & pony rides, line dancing, and the traditional party favorite "Dunk-the-Doc.” What set this year’s Patient Appreciation Day apart was the hot air balloon ride donated by Hunterdon Balloon Company. As the balloon rose to full-size in the park, Dr. Loew’s patients made $10 donations to the Michael Pohle Scholarship fund. Each Family that made a donation was given a chance to take a hot air balloon ride. In the end, Dr. Loew matched his patient’s donations and one lucky Family hopped into the balloon’s basket and the remaining party-goers watched as they floated off into the sky.
Each February for Children’s Dental Health Month Dr. Loew visits several schools across the Flemington and Clinton school districts teaching children how to keep their teeth clean and healthy, when to see an orthodontist and how bad smoking is for your health. |
